Each student gave their self-introduction presentation and received feedback. This was a good starting point.
Please keep these things in mind:
- Go back and see if you can improve each slide according to each principle of CRAP. (eg., Can you make the alignment more clear? Is there a good way to add more contrast?)
- For each decision I made (CRAP, animation, etc…) did I have a clear reason for the choice?
- Did each slide have only one main point or many?
Data Visualization
To prepare for the next lesson, prepare a few data slides. You can get the data from your own research, from information from another class, or a source on the internet (i.e., Wikipedia, the U. N.).
Try to use a few different types of data slides (bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts, etc …).
In the next lesson (10/11), we will look at your slides and learn how to make powerful data slides.
